Košljun from the jetty
Košljun from the jetty
On our pages is an attempt to introduce Košljun, a small settlement - resort on Pag Island's southern side. Košljun is accessible on an asphalt road, which starts off from the road connecting Pag town and Novalja and reaches Košljun from west - besides that there is also a macadam road leading from the valley with Pag's salt pans through the ridge and arriving in the village from north. As Košljun doesn't have any through traffic, those, who plan a vacation here can expect tranquillity.

Fine gravel on Luka Beach
Fine gravel on Luka Beach
The coast in Košljun is mainly stony - with gravel beaches in two bays. The beach around Luka (the harbor) has a long section with very fine gravel (almost sand), while the eastern bay has a short section of gravel beach, which is used to enter and leave the sea conveniently.

Looking at the accommodation offers, other than Croatia's ubiquitous private apartments there is also a small campsite at its guests' disposal. Next to the road arriving in Košljun there is a small grocery store, while above the eastern bay a kiosk selling bakery products and a small bar serve the holiday makers.
